  1. For me to see a daddy holding a brand new baby girl so incredible special. The most romantic thing was for me to see my hubby holding our baby girl on her 1st Christmas 6 years ago and thanking God for the blessing of a healthy, beautiful child and a daddy that loves her and myself so much. Makes my heart skip a beat!

  2. My most romantic holiday memory with my sweet beau would be making Christmas cookies with him that he made as a child with his mother. He helps frost and add sprinkles as I bake them and it has become our Christmas tradition now! I like that we slow down and just enjoy each others company and spend time making memories together! Cheers y'all!

  5. Hey Rachel~
My most romatic Holiday Memory w/ my Hubby is our first Christmas. We were stationed in NC and none of our family was coming up til the day after Christmas. So we spent the day snuggled together and made our First Christmas Dinner together. Lasagna. It was just an awesome special day! :)

  6. My most romantic memory is walking through the beautiful luminaries on December 24, 2001. They lit up our neighborhood like a scene from It's a Wonderful Life. We meandered slowly, since I was eight days overdue with our first born child. We are not patient people, but waiting for the arrival of our newest family member was worth the wait. And what an entrance she made! We were given the most perfect Christmas present ever, when Emma Noelle entered the world on December 25th, 2001. Her perfect pink cheeks and long beautiful fingers were the best gift any couple could receive. I never expected that moment when we first held our child to be as lasting as it has been... she is a true blessing.

  7. My most romantic holiday memory was our first Christmas as a married couple. I woke up to find that my "Santa Baby" had not only brought me gifts but he also brought me a stocking and filled it with all kinds of goodies. It was just very sweet. Thanks for the game...it is nice to think back on memories. Merry Christmas!

  8. My most romantic holiday memory with my sweetheart was the Christmas before Mark and I moved to Beaufort. December 25,2006 was the day that my amazing husband looked at me with the Christmas tree twinkling in the background and asked me to be his wife forever and ever!

  9. My most romantic holiday memory is Christmas 2007, seeing my husband with our new baby girl. He bought many special tree ornaments celebrating our baby's arrival and our first family Christmas. He is an amazing father and wonderful father. I am so blessed.

    Happy Holidays!

  10. After 42 years of Christmas with my guy, the most special romantic moment was our first Christmas when there was a gift under the tree from "Santa". The gift was the first clue in a scavanger hunt in our little apartment for my gift. I do not recall the gift but the hunt was the greatest fun. Every year, there is a special gift from "Santa" and every year, it is nearer and dearer to my heart!

  12. Oh Rachel...my husband is not at all romantic, lol! However, one Christmas he surprised me with a pile of unexpected gifts. He took the kids shopping and they all picked things out for me that they thought I would like...they got me a book, a necklace, 2 sweaters and a pair of pj's. All things I do typically love...super sweet!!, right? Well, they were right that they were all things I would like but they were all either the wrong size or not really my style...didn't have the heart to say anything...it is a sweet memory though.

  14. My most romantic holiday memory is probably the year we got married. Our wedding was just 4 days after Christmas... so that year I so full of joy and happiness for what was to come to for us. Having our wedding so soon after Christmas made the holiday season feel that much more special and longer to me that year because we just kept celebrating. To this day and I am very glad that we got married when we did because it makes me remember all of our years and memories together just in time to make the holidays more special! Fun post, Rachel! I loved your story!

  16. I have been married for 33 years, so I have lots to choose from. However, I remember our first Christmas there was a huge snowstorm that kept us from heading home when we wanted to. I was upset and Bob felt so bad. He went outside and wrote Bob loves Terri in the snowdrift outside our place. It made me realize that as long as I was with him, I was with my family!
