Holy WOW! I haven’t blogged in forever, apparently,
after looking at the date from my last post.
Arrgghh! I always feel like I should
just in case someone wants to know what’s happening around here. This is going to be a quickie blog post here.
(Yeah right! That never happens for me, takes me forever!). I honestly don’t even remember where I left
off.
Hmmm…let’s see, you prob know that I
had a second back surgery in less than a year this past Sept, right? So right on the heels of that I had to get on
the road with my Fall/Holiday shows. We
kicked those off in Raleigh this year.
It was a good show and FGC’s first
time to be there for their Jr. League Holiday event. Not only did I get to visit some family that I hadn’t had
the chance to visit with in quite a while (FUN!), but I also met lots of new
Fabulous Fans,
plus I made new friends by meeting other vendors. That’s
always a good time, but I was so exhausted.
Lauren, my oldest daughter, was right.
{If
she happens to read this post, she’s gonna love that I just wrote that little
tidbit. Okay, who am I kidding???? She’s 23 years old doing “her thang”. Do I
really think she’s going to read her mom’s blog? Fat chance, but she might surprise me. Note:
I’m not holding my breath J}.
She warned me that it was too much, too soon after surgery. She was def right on
that! So, thank God once again for my
Mr. Loomis, aka my very own Mr. Wonderful.
He swooped in and saved the day for me! I’m so thankful for
him! How appropriate on the heels of
Thanksgiving, right?
Last weekend was spent down in
Savannah. Ahhhhh, Savannah. That’s where I started doing shows for
FGC.
I just love that crowd down
there! They are the sweetest folks,
really! Did you know that I have a
mommy/Grandma team that drive over from Augusta every Fall and Spring just to
see me and my designs? That’s what they
told me this year after being there for four years. I’m always happy to see them, but I figured
they were Savannah locals. How sweet is
that? It’s so much fun seeing all those familiar faces and smiles there. That’s the best part of doing this! It makes iT all so worth it. That makes me smile.
This week I’ll be off to my last big show of this year in Columbia, SC, Holiday Market. Come
on out and see us if you’re in the area.
It’s really a great charitable event.
Ladies night is Wednesday, which is a huge, fancy party for all and kicks off
the entire shindig, tickets needed so follow the link above. I’ll be there with
oodles of fresh pieces for Fall and Holiday, all perfect for layering up for
the cool months and not for when the weather breaks and the air is warm
again.
{This is just a little sneak peek of what I'll have there. I LOVE the versatility and value of a knot dress or top!!!}
Happy Sunday to you all!
